Sobhana Ayyalasomayajula

Smt. Sobhana Ayyalasomayajula hails from a prestigious musical lineage, representing the 4^th generation of the family of the legendary Harikatha Pitamaha Srimad Ajjada Adibhatla Narayana Dasu. She is a well-established Carnatic musician and Vainika in Delaware, USA. Sobhana had the opportunity to learn Carnatic Music from Sri Neti Sri Rama Sharma, Smt. Bhanu Kannan, Prof Nagendra Sastry, and Sri Mantha Srinivas. She trained to play the Veena under Vidwan Sri Ayyagari Syama Sundaram. With the blessings of Vagdevi Varaputra Sri Samadevam Shanmukha Sharma, Sobhana was fortunate enough to have composed and released compositions such as Sri Vallabha Ganapathi Suprabhatham, Sri Hari Ganam, and Sri Surya Narayana Shathakam on CDs. She has been teaching Carnatic Music and Veena to the Indian diaspora, both for kids and adults, since 2005 under the banner of Narayana Nada Vidya Music School.
